More ways to take part

Words, numbers and images

The school describes storytelling, creative writing and debate alongside problem solving, classification and experiments. Charts, sketching and design provide additional ways to explore and express an idea.

Nature, movement and music

Nature observation and environmental activities sit alongside movement, rhythm and singing in the school’s published approach. Activities can help children explore a topic from several directions.

Reflection and collaboration

Personal reflection, cooperation and understanding another person’s perspective are part of the approach. The official website also describes teacher training in varied methods, including role play, art, multimedia and cooperative learning. Ask your child’s teacher which activities suit the current class topic.
